Hey guys! We are back with Part 2 of our Month of the Males. We share 4 more trends from the 2017 Fashion Week that are not only affordable but adaptable to everyday Street Style. Enjoy!
"Get Stoned"
The most popular color this season was in fact a neutral. We grew fond of seeing the sandy beige color which has already worked itself into most of our closets. For those who do not want to “go in loud” this is the perfect trend for you. You can still “stay trendy” and not feel too far outside of your comfort zone.
Remington’s “Get Stoned” look consists of an ASOS Khaki t-shirt and shorts that are currently sold in stores. To balance the color blocking, he added a Converse denim blouse. This is an easy everyday look but also makes a loud statement for neutral tones.
"The Denim Tuxedo"
We combine “Light Wash Denim” + “All-in-One” trends with theĀ personalized “Denim Tuxedo.” The baggy denim jacket meets the criteria of the The Light Wash Trend. The denim jeans complete the All-in-One look. Because of the versatility of denim, this is an outfit that you can wear anywhere. Whether it is at work or at a night out, these two trends work together to establish a bold Street Style.
As we mentioned in our last post, “thrifting” can now happen virtually. Freddie’s entire outfit was purchased through Amazon. Making second-hand or greatly used clothing affordable but also easier since Amazon delivers and you do not have to go through the hassle of going to the store to find a specific item.
"Monochrome Print"
My, my, if it isn’t the signs of Cruella de Vil. This year’s Fashion Week has brought back the flourish of black and white patterns, otherwise known as Monochrome. This trend is actually one of the easier looks to accomplish. You can go all out by a variation of zany patterns or keep it simple with subtle stripes. Either way, this is a look you can easily execute if you haven’t already.
Hector’s entire look can be found from PacSun.
"Mixed Messages"
Since you guys are so good with mixed signals, it’s time to try the trend “Mixed Messages.” Designers were increasingly impacted by the current economic and political crisis. As a result, they took to the runway to give their own opinions. This means that one of the newest trends is to wear t-shirts with political signs or statements.
Kyle is wearing an U.S. army tank with a small print under the eagle. His joggers were currently purchased from Forever21 for $19.90.
We hope you enjoyed our Month of the Males! If you are interested in seeing more Men’s Style, we would love to hear your feedback. As always, stay tuned for the next post.
